Google Sky - my God, it’s full of stars
Not content to scare the US government agencies by giving all of us non-military types access to satellite photos of, well pretty much everywhere with Google Earth, they are now taking us to the Final Frontier (they may take us to another frontier, but not as we know it….) Yep, download the new version of Google Earth and you get the Heavens thrown in for free - 100 million stars and 200 million galaxies, although I am not sure I could eat that much chocolate - for any non-brits in the audience, Galaxy is a brand of chocolate - for any Europeans in the audience, yes it is chocolate 
Apparently they have stitched together over 1 million images taken from the likes of the Hubble Space Telescope and it is pretty damn impressive, it’s cost me yet another day of my life (if nobody had invented football, blogging, Facebook and Google Earth, You Tube etc I would be soooo productive) so to share my lack of productivity (and because you’ve probably had your access to Facebook at work blocked) here is the ‘How to’ video they have so handily dropped onto You Tube….
